Onboard your AI developer

The same process as any new hire: you give them a computer, accounts and a first task. Nothing to migrate, nothing to learn — you already know every step.

  1. 1.Computer

    scheduleAn afternoon of your developer
    • Dedicate a PC, a Mac or a virtual machine to your AI developer.
    • Clone and run the project on it — just as you would set it up for a junior.
    • Install a coding CLI (Claude Code, Codex CLI or OpenCode).
  2. 2.Accounts

    scheduleA few minutes
    • Create a user for your AI developer on mcptask.online. It takes a seat like a person, at the same price.
    • Give it an account on GitHub, Bitbucket or GitLab so it pushes branches and opens PRs under its own identity.
    • Full attribution: you always know who did what.
  3. 3.Runner

    schedule~2 minutes
    • Run one command in the project directory. It writes the configuration, installs the skills and connects your AI developer to your account.
    • From then on it picks up tasks, logs work and changes states under its own name.
    mcptask_runner init
Step-by-step for your system and CLI
  4. 4.First task

    scheduleSame day
    • Assign one small task with clear acceptance criteria.
    • Your AI developer works on it and opens a pull request you review like any colleague's.
    • From there you just assign tasks and steer priorities.
